Fraud Detection Researcher/Analyst

At the moment we are looking for Fraud Detection Researcher/Analyst to join our team in Helsinki.

We are looking for Fraud Detection Researcher/Analyst to work on the development and production of fraud mitigation strategies in mobile application advertisement and payment on delivering cutting-edge technologies that impact millions of users.

Location: Preferably Helsinki, Finland. Remote locations also possible, considered case by case.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The software professional we are looking for should be comfortable with at least some of the following:

Master or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics focused on Machine Learning, Statistics or equivalent experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience in big data, machine learning and predictive modeling. Hands-on experience with fraud detection tools.
Extensive knowledge of Fraud mitigation strategies in mobile application advertisement and payment
Good knowledge of Android mobile applications, Linux systems, how IP networks and network protocols work, and encryption protocols.
Ingenuity and persistence analysis to identify the root cause, variations of each fraud type.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong communication and data presentation skills
Strongly motivated and experienced in collaboratively working with a diverse team of engineers, analysts, and business management to achieve superior bottom line results.
Strong ability in problem-solving and driving for results

Beneficial skills:

Experience in Ad or payment fraud detection
Knowledge of distributed computing and experience with advanced machine learning libraries like Spark, Tensorflow, etc.
Fluent in several European languages, Chinese is a plus.
Adequate connections in local and international security community or fraud prevention community.
Experience in project management.
