Senior/Principal Researcher, NLP

At the moment we are looking for Senior/Principal Researcher, NLP to join our team in Helsinki.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and motivated (Senior or Principal level) Researcher specializing in NLP & Knowledge Graph to address challenges in content security and build good detection capabilities to ensure safe content is presented to users.

Location: Preferably Helsinki, Finland. Remote locations also possible, considered case by case.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The software professional we are looking for should be comfortable with at least some of the following:

Academic and/or industrial proven success in the area of NLP and Computer Vision/Machine Learning applied to security, multilinguals NLP
At least 5-6 publications in NLP area
Motivated in hands-on research and use of Deep Learning concepts and technologies.
Experience with some of the following concepts: multilingual text analysis, Transformers for NLP, knowledge representation, and knowledge graphs.
Proven success in addressing content security problems on abusive content hate speech, and fake content detection is a big plus.
Experience in bias detection and prevention, explainable AI is a plus.
Good knowledge of Python and hands-on experience with some NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
Experience with various public cloud environments and technologies is a plus.
Ph.D. in AI/ML/NLP computer science, maths, statistics, computational linguistics or equivalent experience.
