System Tester

At the moment we are looking for an experienced System Tester to strengthen our Tampere team. You would start your journey in one of our most interesting and challenging.

As a software tester you will be responsible for designing and running tests in the Linux OS environment. You’ll design new test cases, run existing test cases, analyse the results, report observations and issues to the team members and into the error database. Development of test automation system in co-operation with DevOps and SW developers offers opportunity for more effective testing practice development. You’ll participate with your colleague on the field test trials when live testing will be executed. To be successful as a software tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design principles. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of test methodologies.

Working with us is uncomplicated, there’s a good team spirit, low-hierarchy and nonexistent bureaucracy. Our way of working is flexible too, many of our team work remotely from home with visits to our office from time to time when needed. This role is equally challenging, and as such we offer a very good compensation. We would hope that you are able to start as soon as possible but we are of course ready to be flexible also.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle, software testing, test automation and DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of Linux OS.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of programming (C, C++).
  • Scripting language experience (like Python scripting).
  • Experience with container management solutions.
