Yliopiston Apteekki is a Finnish pharmacy group that was established in 1755, and it is owned by the University of Helsinki. In Finland, it has 17 pharmacies in 13 different locations. For companies and organisations operating in the health care sector, Yliopiston Apteekki Pharmacy provides various services, such as dose dispensing and production of medicinal products.
Yliopiston Apteekki also provides an online pharmacy, from which prescription and non-prescription drugs, as well as other pharmaceutical products, such as vitamins and cosmetics, can be ordered. In 2018, the turnover of Yliopiston Apteekki was approximately 319 million euros.
Yliopiston Apteekki and Unikie began their collaboration already in 2017 with system integration consultation. In 2018, Unikie Oy’s product Aino.io was also included in the monitoring of system integrations.
Aino.io has earned its place as the tool used for monitoring the operation of Yliopiston Apteekki system integrations in connection with both development and production use. The monitoring is versatile, and it helps detect if any errors occur or any processes stop. It is important for business operations that each transaction can be monitored.
Ville Vainio, IT Director at Yliopiston Apteekki, has participated in the project ever since the tendering phase.
Today, Aino.io has earned its place as the tool used for monitoring the operation of Yliopiston Apteekki system integrations for the part of both development and production use. It is easy to see how much work and money has been saved. ” Many errors are already detected in the development phase and not the implementation phase when they have been configured to be detected automatically”, points out Erno Lahtinen, CTO Integrations and Aino.io at Unikie.
