We are looking for an experienced and skilled People Person to strengthen our People team in Finland.
In this position your role is to support overall business plan and strategic direction specifically in the areas of following people team’s services: leadership, competence development, well-being, organizational support & development and administration services, to all our sites globally (currently Finland, Poland, Germany, Sweden, USA) in cooperation with respective local experts.
Expectation of the role is to support and develop areas mentioned above individually and part of the people team. Role is mid-senior level and requires 3-5 years’ experience of global and modern people (HR) work in similar tasks and an ability to work independently on various people topics. Position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and a professional level English and Finnish, to be able to succeed in a global growth company environment.
At the moment, your future colleagues are located in Tampere, Turku and Oulu. We are hoping to strengthen our people team’s presence in Helsinki, so we would prefer your home base to be at our Helsinki office.
The people team is working with quite a big arena with different focus areas, so we would be happy to hear what you’re interested in and where your strengths are and formulate the right combination of tasks from there.

Let’s first take a moment to describe your teammates, shall we? You would be working closely with Laura and Tiina, our People team professionals located in Tampere. In addition, you will have support from Kristina and Noora from Turku to employment admin related topics and Carita from Oulu, who assists local people team operations in Oulu, Kokkola and Kuopio. Although we are divided to different locations, we are a tight team ready to support each other and give a helping hand to those who need it. At Unikie, you get to work in a flexible low-hierarchy organization that looks after its own.
As mentioned, you will work with leadership, competence development, well-being, organizational support & development and administration services individually and as a part of the people team. Taking people team’s services to concrete level, tasks include e.g. onboarding and offboarding activities. Being the first point of contact for our employees in employment and leadership matters. Supporting teams and individuals in people related topics across the organization. Also development projects and iterative development, admin tasks and supporting our people’s well-being are an important part of the People team’s responsibilities. Organizing events, taking care of our facilities and internal communication, are also our focus areas.
