Unikie was, at the Kauppalehti Kasvajat -event in Tampere, awarded as the second toughest growth company in the Western Finland region. Soilfood Oy, a manufacturer of recycled fertilizers, grabbed first place.

“Kauppalehti awarded software company Unikie, for its rapid growth. The Unikie group, which works with European automotive giants, has managed a turnover of nearly EUR 16 million and employs 250 software developers,” Kauppalehti writes on its website.

“It is an honor to be acknowledged for one’s work,” says Unikie CEO Esko Mertsalmi, referring to the Kauppalehti award.” We have from the very outset aimed at the international market and have, thanks to our successful projects, convinced our clients so well with our know-how, that such rapid growth has been possible. I wish to thank our entire outstanding team!”

The Kauppalehti Kasvajat -tour which reached Tampere on Tuesday is organized for the tenth time this year. The tour will, during the month of May, visit a total of five locations around Finland. A Kasvajat -event will be held at each location, with a theme dedicated to ten years of celebrating growth – leading people and achieving success.
