AIVOT project focuses on increasing automation level and optimizing the logistic process of large numbers of unmanned vehicles marshalled on large outdoor areas. The developed technologies will also be utilized in other operating environments, like gravel and off-road conditions.
The AIVOT consortium, established in September 2024 within the eALLIANCE ecosystem and led by Unikie, brings together leading Finnish companies, Patria, 3D Talo, Elisa, Posti, SE Mäkinen and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
Vehicle compounds serve as hubs that are an integral part of the German automotive industry’s finished vehicle logistics. The AutoLog research project aims to explore and realise optimisation potential through the use of automated driving at vehicle compounds. The project aims to increase the efficiency and flexibility of terminal operations through technological developments for the digitalisation of processes and the automation of driving movements.
The project partners include Unikie, Volkswagen Group Logistics, Deutsche Telekom, and BIBA – Bremer Institut für Produktion und Logistik.
Launched in January 2023, AGRARSENSE is a EU-funded Chips Joint Undertaking consortium project aiming to develop cutting edge technology solutions for sustainable agriculture and forestry.
The 3-year project, led by by Komatsu Forest AB, will combine the efforts of 52 partners from 15 European countries. To do this, they will develop several technologies like automated agricultural tools and improved sensor technology that will help improve efficiency and protect value chains.
A-IQ Ready, led by AVL LIST GMBH and funded by the “Horizon Europe” Chips-JU, proposes cutting-edge quantum sensing, edge continuum orchestration of AI and distributed collaborative intelligence technologies to implement the vision of intelligent and autonomous ECS for the digital age.
A-IQ Ready will apply three disruptive technologies: Quantum Sensor, Neuromorphic Acceleration, AI in Multi-Agent Systems to build the edge continuum as the digital backbone for the Society 5.0.
The GenerIoT project is developing new methods and technologies to simplify the handling of IoT SW across the entire DevOps cycle, to accelerate development and thus enable continuous adaptations. Consistent, well-defined system models are at the core of the GenerIoT approach.
GenerIoT is an ITEA4 project that brings together 19 projects partners from Austria, Finland, Germany and Portugal.
The HAL4SDV (Hardware Abstraction Layer for a European Software Defined Vehicle Approach) project mission is to advance European solutions in software-defined vehicles and next generation vehicles. By focusing on unifying software interfaces and development methodologies, HAL4SDV will enable software configuration that abstracts from vehicle hardware, paving the way for a “software-defined vehicle (SDV)” approach for both safety-critical and non-safety-critical applications in future vehicles.
The consortium, led by TTTech Computertechnik AG, consists of 53 partners & 9 associated partners from 12 countries.
