The New Mobility World, part of the IAA 2019, is once again the international B2B forum for trade visitors from September 11 to 15.
Unikie introduces Unikie Drive, a versatile platform for gathering and visualizing data from a variety of sources. Unikie Drive can be configured to store all kinds of information available from location-based sources but also from third-party sources, such as moving and positioned sensors, which can provide relevant context.
“At New Mobility World, we are demonstrating the sensor fusion data collection platform. How the platform collects data from the vehicle, combined with the driver monitoring using camera and Suunto Movesense sensor”, says Unikie’s CTO Jani Väisänen.
There are several benefits of using Unikie Drive. The platform is scalable, large, and can handle a large number of data points. The backend supports automatic data analytics and heuristics, allowing for additional analytics.
“A significant benefit is also visuality. The selected information is displayed in real time to the driver”, shows Unikies Vice President, Automotive Vesa Kiviranta.
“It’s easy to use visual data tools to instantly understand the situation. And all location-based information can be visualized, learned in depth, or further processed for use cases that may be needed”, Kiviranta explains.
